An Ideal Format Token

This innovative product combines the portability of a standard-sized bank card with the security of an OTP (One-Time Password) token. A 6 or 8-digit number is dynamically generated and displayed on the card itself by a button press. Each use of the card generates a new number, which functions as a One-time Password.

The iPin® Display Card can be used as a single-function authenticator for strong online transaction security, including for banking applications, but the technology can also be incorporated in a traditional magnetic stripe or EMV chip to create a “3-in-1” payment medium for debit or credit.

iPin® complies with OATH standards, and comes in both event-based and time-based versions. An optional on-card keypad provides even greater protection against theft of the card by requiring the input of a secret 4-digit PIN (chosen by the user on first receiving the card) in order to unlock the display.
